"Diane, I got absolute goose bumps when you sang at Lisa's memorial service, a wonderful tribute to her" —Melanie C.
Diane Martinson provides vocal music as soloist for funeral, memorial, and remembrance services in Minneapolis.
I can work with your provided musician such as an organist/ pianist for the service music, or I can refer a piano accompanist or portable keyboard player (schedule permitting) for their additional fee. I have a few songs on CD background tracks for locations with out space for a portable keyboardist, or I can sing acappella. I also sing with other wonderful musicians that I can refer you to, such as a harpist, flutist or violinist.
My portable microphone and speaker allows me to perform at locations that don't have vocalist microphone /sound equipment.
Planning music for the service
The universal language of music is calming, healing, and unifying as people gather together. Vocal solos enhance the service and provide a wonderful tribute, and I would also lead the singing of hymns.
There are different service outlines you can follow for selecting music. They vary depending on the location, and whether it's a funeral, memorial, celebration of life, or remembrance service, your location can give you an planning outline to assist you, then contact me with your music selections.
